The blocks are fabricated out of laser cut acrylic sheet. C0loured vinyl covering is made on the blocks. The 3 position table is used so that 3 activities can take place simultaneously.
25mm glass marbles are used as balls. Every minute a trigering device will actuate a motor which liftsup and drops one ball at the minute tray. When the minute is tray ( 5 mins) is filled the tray trips over with one carry over ball moving to the next tray and the remaining balls returning to the sump. When the 5 Mins tray is filled ( 60 Mins) it trips and one carry over ball move to next Hour tray. When the Hour tray is filled (12 Hrs) it trips with all the balls moving to sump except one ball which is fixed to the tray. This happens at 1 'O' Clock and it is a spectaculor movement with all the balls moving to the sump.
Three tables are joined together to make one station so that each visitor will have sufficient time to think and enjoy the process of assembly. This exhibit is appreciated by all age groups.
We have used Laser cut Acrylic gears of 300mm dia and 30mm dia mounted on nylon shaft with idler gear arrangement so that all dials rotate in clockwise direction. The entire assembly is enclosed in glass chamber.
We have used 4mm green radium acrylic sheet. The slot is cut using our in-house Laser. For the inclined Rod assembly movement, we have used PIAGGO scooter front wheel hub assembly. We have put an all-round bar to indicate the extreme position of the Rod.
